utterly utterly brilliant I love it  :)  on the ferry but not down in the cargo or car decks but up on the passenger decks so they could see out of the window , and possibly see England in the distance if they keep their eyes peeled  :)

Some fantastic photos here, thanks all! I particular like the "Terrier" loco and Isettas, the Terriers were made for London Brighton and South Coast Railway, so I presume that is at the Brighton BMW works siding. Going by the nearest car it looks like it has the later 3" plastic lensed rear lights. I'd place that photo probably mid to late 1959 or possibly early 1960.

My fault I suppose because I have only posted some links rather than the pictures - can anyone fix that ? Thanks , but that blasted old train has come up for the third time !  ;D ;D . I think we are probably all quite familiar with the nice ones of Kleinschnittgers, but always worth another look!

If I recall, a car with one K on its roof rack towing a trailer with more K's on it. I would love to see Heinkels being loaded onto a Dakota/DC3

 Marcus that and andys were both part of my next post but I am just awaiting an enquiry regarding Ms. Bouffort's travelling circus , so please hold back on that one ( I don't think its that commonly seen , at least to me   ;) )
