What is it? Mystery Car
« on: November 14, 2015, 04:27:06 pm »
Way back in 2007 this here thing was sighted on Italian eBay, and despite a topic at that time on the forum, I am still no nearer to finding out exactly what this thing actually is. From the view inside, I do ponder if it is some sort of special body built on a Piaggio/Vespa Ape or suchlike. It appears to be a single-seater. Back in 2007 there were certain sniffs of disapproval that "it must be an invalid carriage of some sort" but in 15 years I've never came across any form of Italian invalid carriage that looks remotely like this. It looks too good to be home-made. So, eight years on, can it be identified at last?

I'd also guess at a special bodied Piaggio/Vespa Ape. Someone fancied making one that looked a bit like a 50s Alfa Romeo for whatever reason.
