Another sleeping beauty, or should i say there is nothing left of the Schmitt ??

Ooh lovely!  I recignise this one from the rear view you have on your website. Do please tell us the story about it. It looks like it spent a long time in the canal.....

Okay Stuart, here we go.
As far as I know, this vehicle originates from the river Main Frankfurt. With cleaning the ground of the river, the Messerschmitt was lifted, and a club member, who noticed what's going on there, took the poor car ( or should i say the rest) home.
 I was also told ,the Schmitt was on display at the cologne Messerschmitt anual meeting in a paddling pool.

O.K. Peelpower, you win the prize for the most rusty car so far.

It would be tempting to put a picture of it on Ebay with " Needs some restoration and recomissioning before using on the road"  ;D
