Oldschool microcars - where are they?

For example I see no issue in adding an engine from motorcycles, let's say Yamaha or Honda. They are efficient, lightweight and won't take much gas. They won't be slow too  8)

May be that the UK licencing laws don't help as some countries allow microcars as well as mopeds before getting a full car licence.

Ask and you shall receive! Apparently there is quite a big movement to actually bring back microcars, including Isetta. So far I see the Dutch leading the fun race but others are keeping up. Here are the few Chinese: Thunder Power Chloe; YKS1 - from the Netherlands; Microlino and Artega Karo Isetta both from the Switzerland. I can only keep my fingers crossed for those brands to have a breakthrough they deserve!
