Certainly no CHAV's where I come from,as they have all been banished to Essex.Unfortunately I do have to visit Essex from time to time, now I know where all the Ford XR3's have turned up and why there is a shortage of Vauxhall Corsa's and Peugeot 205's in every other part of the country. But enough of this, lets' just watch and see what happens with the Tiger, certainly worth restoring no matter how bad things look, try finding another one for sale.....anywhere in the world!!

Hi John, I have just fallen in, not the bath! One has to be of a certain age to remember the TV soap add of the wealthy CHAV from Essex who whilst in his private jet in his luxury bath with his ugly Essex wife sporting a bar of Imperial leather, Burberry bikini and white stiletto's looking at the holiday brochures, "Saffron Walden and all the other beautiful villages of Essex look nice".  "On our way darlin!"  I remember it well along side the "you'll wonder where the yellow went when you brush your teeth with Pepsodent" and " One thousand and one cleans a big big carpet for less than half a crown!"

Perhaps it should have been a UK built version of the Tg500 and he might have got more return on his investment  ;D
Sadly he invested in York Nobel's dream and seen little or no return :-\

There's a thought, especially if a Brit version used a decent engine.

Sorry, I forgot that Sir Mike was reading these posts, I should have said "Decent INGINE". You see when I drove my schmitt to Story with Mike Shepard and Richard Warren , being an Essex CHAV they ribbed me constantly for my mispronunciation of the word "engine". There were references to "cowboys and Ingines" and all that sort of thing. What a hoot we had! Such a shame it will never happen again now that Story is gone..

Well the highest bidder, who obviously was very keen to get it (judging by the number of bids) might just get another black 'TG500' to add to his collection.   ;)
