Never thought I'd say it about a convertible, but it's just as cute with its lid on

I prefer it with the hardtop being unaware they made them for Bonds, there's also a Cheap Mk G for spares or repairs £100:

Hmmm, poor condition. Plenty of work to bring back on the road again. ???

I contacted the owner before it went on Ebay, and was put off by the amount of work it needed, plus the huge distance to transport it!
Needless to say, I could have bought it for a song - but it eventually went for nearly 1k over the top price he hoped to get on Ebay!! Never mind, I've just acquired a gorgeous MkD family, 1958 in red, number VON 631 which is already running happily. Does anyone know anything of her history?

VON631 is a rather famous car in Bond circles.  Has been an active vehicle in Bond club circles for 30 plus years.  I have some Cine film from the 70's of it and it has not changed a bit!  Has been owned by a number of Bond enthusiasts over the years.  You have bought a very nice car and a piece of Bond history.
