I read the description and didnt get the impression he was claiming it left the factory like it, he just points out it wasnt he who fitted the engine, no claims of it being original. Its certainly rare as no one else would bother fitting a kubota 500 to a Robin when they already have perfectly good engines of there own. I think you got the wrong end of the stick Stuart ect etc ect.
