LSD 1920s 3 wheeler pick up
« on: October 13, 2008, 10:42:00 pm »
Odd three wheeler pick up on ebay, item no. 250308453450. I have never seen one of these before and thought it would be of interest.

There is a photo and brief description of LSDs in the "Shire" booklet "3 wheelers" by Ken Hill. The makers' initials were used to emphasize the  few pounds, shillings and pence that they cost to buy and run; (currency used to denoted by L.S.D.. No, not Lysergic Acid Diethylamide, but Livra, Shillings and Denarii.) Livra being Latin for pound and Denarii being the Roman equivalent of pennies. Quite rare vehicle, hope it finds a good home.
