« on: January 22, 2009, 08:27:21 pm »
anyone recognize this car?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260350044307

it is in the USA in the Pacific NW, looks like the seller just brought it over to sell.
Has all the import paperwork to GET a title, but won't get one for some reason.

How strange, yet another car still registered at DVLA.  I thought you had to send back the registration documents to them when a vehicle is exported?

so it is the second one referred to in that other thread Stuart?
There are no pics and the listings are not accessible any longer as they are a year old.

I only save listings that have sold so I don't have a copy of that.

Yes, it's the second-mentioned Bond. From memory I think it's the same seller as a year ago as well. Also from memory I think both this UK-spec car and the Bear Cub both went though US eBay abut three times in quick sucsesion at that time & I don't think either of them ultimatly sold anywhere.

here is a "classified" listing for the same car from same seller:
http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/1002274919.html

maybe one reason he can't sell it is he wants $19,500 USD for it.

(note: above link may disappear at any time if it is removed by the author or by Craigslist.org)

Hi
It was sold on eBay UK in September 07 for £2321. Not a bad mark up!
