This has been in the thread ---- One for the ICR stuart --- two days ago. Listed as buy it now for £5000 and they declined an offer of £4500!!!!  :o  It's been re-listed on ebay.

I didnt know Rob. Just stumbled across it tonight and thought I had beter tell someone. Its a brave man who turns down 4.5k for this, rare it may be but so are two headed ducks!

 Invalid carriges are on the ascent, for good or for bad, that much is clear by some of the events of the past year.

I know both owner & car well, (The Harding in question is one of only six known Bodied Harding's) but I'm going to say absulutly nothing at all about the asking price, except to say I sold my Petrol version, 715 TLG, to the East Anglian Transport Museum in September 2006 for just £300  !!!  :'(  

 192 BAJ was formerly within the Combe Martin Motorcycle collection and is now possibly the best example out there. It came to the second Resergance Gathering in Wales last April, and is mentioned a few times in recent Register Pages within RCN.

 Just don't let Artura get it is all I ask.....

I thought afterwards that others may not understand the analogy, its something we say in the antiques trade when someone is trying to sell you something and goes on about how rare it is. Its easier to say "So are two headed ducks" than to explain that rarety doesnt always translate to high value. In other words two headed ducks are very rare but people ar'nt queing around the block to buy them.

I,m sure they do quack in unison!
