That's fun, but obviously not as much luggage space as a mechanical elephant, which has a trunk. I'll get me coat.
There are some great machines on You Tube by Theo Janssens, such as beach walking creature, well worth a look, fantastic mechanism

 Oh if only this had turned up a couple of months ago, it would have found its way into the Elephant saga. Upholding my reputation for sillyness I was all set to bid on this mechanical pig on the spot when I followed the above link. Alas, on careful studing/reading of the listing, the thing doesn't actully move along under power, it just sits there flapping its ears, head etc. So really its just a sculpture than a viable means of transport (remember who's writing this before you dismiss that last bit as a figure of speech!  ;))

 What else is out there? a mechanical seagull? A mechanical worm? A mechanical Muffin the Mule? A mechanical Marcus de Mowbray?   ;D ;D ;D
