Haynes Museum Auction 29th Oct.
« on: October 25, 2009, 05:43:40 pm »
I understand that there is an AC Petite and Reliant Regal on offer at this auction.  Alan Budd has been touch with me to let you know he is on the case!  If any of you should be planning to attend do make contact with him before the bidding starts.

Nick Devonport's old one which he sold to John Moir the AC collector in the states. The vehicle formerly being Neville Bonner's old car. (lNevvile of course being the late hubbie of Helga Bonner)

"Do make contact with him before the bidding starts?"  I hope nothing illegal is being suggested?

No Bob nothing like that.  Alan is prepared to buy it if it is necessary to make sure it is preservered but he doesn't want to stand in the way of another genuine enthusiast and force the price up.

I recognised "my" car from the description but it's not the car in the photo.

If the Model 67 reaches even the lower estimate it's been a good investment
for John and I hope it sells well for him.  Anyone know why he's selling it?  I
thought he was a passionate AC collector with a private museum in New England.
