1962 (?) NSU Quickly Moped
« on: March 28, 2010, 02:02:51 PM »
My nephew has decided to sell his Quickly which he had for about 2 years. It is in somewhat scruffy but original/unrestored condition and sandy-grey paint and is running but not too well (dirty carb?) It has its original log book and the last tax (1974) disc before it was stored until he and my brother bought it from the fellow in Milton Keynes who deals in NSU cars, bikes and spares. My brother and nephew got it back on the road after an engine re-build. He is hoping to get about £250 for it, so if you are interested contact him at this subtly anti-spam coded email: joeldemowbray  (at)  hotmail  (dot)  (co)  (uk) , or send me a PM. The sale is nothing to do with me, but I thought this might be a good place to offer it first.

That sounds right, I went along when they collected it at Wolverton, museum, classic car and bike show, nice day out. If you know anyone into mopeds who might be interested please pass it on. He is selling it because he needs some money, and prefers cycling now anyway.
