I think this car has been up before.  I recognize the overspray from a previous listing  ::)

they were never exported out of Australia though.

Early on Darts had got to New Zealand, I believe there are 9 there according to my spy, one to Ireland and of course the Quantas car stayed in Germany after it had done its advertising task and trip to Dingolfing. There is a possibility of South Africa sales as I have a magazine suggesting it might have been looked at marketing it there which got as far as it appearing on the Goggo listing reference section. The problem is that factory records really seem to be in Bill Buckle's head and for a long time he was not interested in talking about it. As Dave found with Peter Agg the situation changes each time he talks on the subject of Trojan as it is approached in a different way, therefore triggering different factoids. However it is assumed that no genuine successful export marketing strategy was made, possibly due to contractual restrictions with Dingolfing who would clearly wish to protect the market for home production and exports supporting greater profits for Glas. So the cars exported would represent private sales.
