Peel book
« on: September 09, 2010, 11:28:47 am »
Anyone know anything about this? From what I can gather it seems to be 22 pages, but then again some of the most informative books I've read have been short in length, such as some of the Shire books.  :)

Its a print on demand title - almost certainly a direct reprint of the corresponding wikipedia articles and material. There is a sample of text here

yes, it seems to be quite a racket re-printing Wikipedia articles and selling them on Amazon, good call!
I have seen this before with other subjects.

I love those Shire books, well-written, informative, some good pictures, and no waffle or padding. I have Three Wheelers, Morgan, London Taxis and Stationary Steam Engines, and intend to get some more of their titles!
