Lol, I know I don't draw really well ;) I'm only 14 years old! I love your mini schmitt, nice idea, making a tiny car even smaller!

Hi,

I saw the photos of the mini schmitts, and decided to draw them

So that's what you do during a dull maths lesson.  ;)  Mind you, so did I. By the time I left school, my maths book had more traffic running along the bottom of the pages than the M25 in rush-hour. One day my book came back from marking with a teacher's note asking "Is this an Austin Ruby", to which I replied "Close, it's a Morris Eight".  ;D

Lego: mmmm, One day I'll show you how to make a lego Invacar Model 70, as patented by me....    ;)  Oh come on everybody, you lot probibly had Mechano. Me. I had Lego, & yes, it's still fun, even though I'm nearly 30 !  8)

How ddi you know? Seriously, the red roadster was in maths! The TG500 ( or TG50 ;) ) was done in free lessons. If you want to see other schmitt drawings ( these are concepts ) here are some I done in lessons and free hours ;) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cu5Z59kFGgE

Do you know MOCpages.com ? It is a site where you upload all your lego models, you could put the invacar on there! Here are my lego cars http://www.mocpages.com/folder.php/61893 The Schmitt is at the bottom.

How did we know? Because that's what most of us did!
Yup, I too think the Evans "mini-'shmitts" are really worth drawing.

Just a thought, but let's say they are successful and produced for X years making X number of them, and then stop them and start making other products.

Then skip forward a couple of decades.

Will we then see someone else making REPLICA Evans mini 'Schmitt replicas?!
That would be great, a replica of a replica.

Yeah! Just imagine what cars will be like in 100 years, maybe hovering? Whatever they will be, they will never be as good as the schmitts ( but probably more reliable and more fun than a 175, which is apparently a d*ck to drive)
I will try and make a Invacar soon, but we don't have much maersk blue, we have blue, red, white, black, grey, and a few other colours.

*Gnashes teeth & shudders at the above two posts.  The correct terminogy is "Ice blue".   ::)

And the above term of referance is banned within 200 yards in any direction of the ICR's earshot. I can see I'm going to have to "educate" you. young fella-me-lad....

Ah Stuart, Young-Fellow-Me -Lad! Read the two posts again carefully: I wrote Toilet Blue as some call it, and JP wrote "spazz chariot toilet blue, I heard that before.

Neither of us were using those words ourselves, just referring to the fact that others use those words!

Marcus neatly side-steps the flak, don't shoot the messenger(s)!  ;D

Whew, I think I got away with one. Move right along folks, nothing more to see. As of now the words "Toilet Blue" no longer exist and must never be used again. No more mention of Toilet Blue, no more thinking the words Toilet Blue, writing the words Toilet Blue, or even telepathic transmission of the words Toilet Blue. The words Toilet Blue no longer exist.  :o

Dear Stuart

Is LAV-ender blue not one of the BOG standard AC colours?

Marcus was right, I heard it ;) Anyway, Spaz is not a rude-word, it is a short way of saying Spastic. A " spaz " is a Handicaped person, what the Invacar is made for ;)

Well Spaz, like any word is not rude in itself, but it depends on who says it and with what intention. If I were to call my disabled girlfriend a spaz, she would know I was only joking and teasing her, but in any situation other than in private conversation (where people will understand the way in which it is being used) it is potentially offensive and politically incorrect, and best not used!
