I just heard from this guy.  He has sold the body Shell to a guy who is planning to make a mould from it.  If any one is interested I will ask for contact details from him.

Oh! You mean the shell I was looking at yesterday! Talk about Chinese whispers! This whole thread has been based on absolute tosh! I know the guy who bought it and there are no plans to take a mould from it. He just wanted a shell which he now has!

Must having been described as a mouldering bodyshell then. Easy mistake to make?

Well maybe there is some truth in the rumour, as I also heard at the National of a chap planning to make new Progress Tourette bodyshells.

Sounds like it could be the same chap that I heard about at the National who was planning to turn out Nobel, Scootacar and Tourette body shells.

Got my RCN today. Particularly like the coverage of the National, a very interesting Powerdrive article.

Well maybe there is some truth in the rumour, as I also heard at the National of a chap in Martham, Norfolk planning to make new Progress Tourette bodyshells.

This will be the chap marketing steel and GRP Messerschmitt parts amongst many other mouldings for various cars under the trade identity of Cascu. His prices seem very competitive but that is probably because he is another person who has found it cheaper to live in France and mearly trade here and thus avoid much taxation totally legally. Rant on Government idiocy available on request. Certainly he looks likely to give the MOC trouble on pricing and I may be beating a path to his door.

Which Tourette? Maybe someone has liberated all or part of the dispersed one in the West Country. Not far from where our chum lives in France really.

Hi, I think I met Mr Cascu---he bought an Isetta very poorly shell from me some years ago, think he also specialised in Fiat X19 bits???? found him 10-12 years by accident looking for an isetta engine. He had some but not for sale. I think I remember a collection of poorly Isseti from him on e bay before departure to tax friendly climes

Dear Al

I suspect that Rosen has done a literal translation from Bengali to English. I think he has done very well. I may be wrong.

note:  the user previously known as rosen has been deleted (entire account).
there are swarms of people in Asia or India that are hired to infiltrate blogs and forums to post short messages that are basically nonsense but appear harmless.
They always end with a web link to some unrelated service (in this case a Payday Loan service).
That is what they are hire to do all day long.
They generally sign up to the forum and do nothing for several days, then come back when they think no one is noticing and post to a slightly older message thread.

If you notice this (nonsense post with a link to an unrelated service) please hit the "report post to moderator" link in the bottom right hand corner of the post for someone to review.
While the post itself is harmless to the group here, it is part of a larger campaign of spam and I will give them not one inch of ground.

So amongst all the other things the Indian sub continent is out doing us Westerners on a University of Stanley Unwin for more better understanding on the webby netnode, cuts of spam, deep joy, otherwise frolicks is total. I am impressed and amazed at the same time. A job writing rubbish, just think. I thought a Moderator only had to listen to The Who and like Scooters.
If you want to know more go to www.......

Seriously though, good job as this spam is like cholesterol clogging up the net efficiency.

All this does throw up the possibility that Big Al is not really Alan Hitchcock at all but is a little Asian guy thousands of miles away working for the same spam outfit? :D :D
