22 is a gasket to keep steel away from aluminium as they will corrode. If this fails or is left out on rebuild it can be extraordinarily difficult to remove the spring from the inserted position and the breach area will corrode the casting to a failure. This seem more prevalent on later assemblies particularly RHD set ups which is one reason why special RHD casting are extinct. That and burks with hammers. Always make up drift tools for the inserted bushings. I tried selling some steering tools but no one was interested so no doubt they will continue to get broken. I know several RHD cars off the road with failed suspension and the owners prefer there cars disabled than to pay the going rate for their error of judgement rather trusting a bargain will turn up.
26 is the bump stop rubber with insert. Clearly that needs a corresponding washer set up the other side so it remains in position and un-stressed over its life. Not normally problem parts.
The Armstrong damper has a differing set of parts to the Boge but the assemblies interchange.
