 Besically, I require contact details (email addresses possibly best) for the following persons;

 Phil Bowler

 Heather Brothers

Theo Dudd

Jan Van Sttraton

Nick Mander

Alan Evans

Dave Golding

Mike Milverton

Mark Philpot

Nick Poll

For privicey reasons, it might be best to send me their details reither via a personal message from this forum, or email me direct on  invacar@yahoo.co.uk

Much Ta in advance, and remember, its all going towards producing a better article for YOU!

I think Nick Poll now lives in France, you might be able to get contact details for him from Julian Nowill who runs the USSR. .... the Unloved Soviet and Socialist Regiter, their editor is  Mike Stevens, edward@stevens8197.fsnet.co.uk
Jean may also have contact for Julian

Right then, I've now got a name for Tri Tech, being Rick Edwards. Alas Tri Tech themselves no longer seem to exist as regards the phone number I've just tried.  So once again, anybody know his current details?

This was posted by a Schmitt owner about 18 months ago on the TriTechSchmitt Yahoo group:

I believe that he has returned to the more lucrative and straightforward business of restoring motorcycles.

One of the things that Rick and other kit manufacturers experienced was he could either work on building kit cars or he could spend his hours talking to people on the phone about maybe buying a kit. Very few of those conversations actually result in a sale. It sounds like Rick has decided to just quit doing anything that has to do with the Tri-Tech.

So I can't help - quite a few people seem to want to contact him, but no-one's succeeded.

Add also Adam Quinlan to the "wanted" hit list as well.....

Of Tri Tech, elusive indeed is our Rick, seeming to have vanished without trace. Suddenly my new avator takes on new meaning already!  ;D  Of the Tri tech details on this internet thing, I was quite suprized to see that they appere to have only produced seven Scmitt's. Pity, I fanced one.  :'(

About 60 Tri-tech schmitt kits were produced, many went to Japan and the USA. About 20 stayed in the UK,  6 or 7 of them being sold  after the 2003 SVA legislation for 3 wheelers came into force. It appears the standard TT rear brake system fell foul of the new SVA requirements.

Interested where you got your figures from? Would mean they are pretty rare cars in this country?
