Chassis number 4360. I've packed it away till springtime, but forgot to check engine number.

Is chassis number similar to yours, Bob?

"Is the chassis number simular to yours Bob?"   Err, no, I dont own one, mines an Inter but uses the same Ydral engine. Incase you meant that question my chassis number is slightly lower than yours , its 5. What I want to know is how do you start the car? Gyrostarter or lever?

Hello Triporteur
I hope you can be persuaded to register your car with RUM. If you'd like to, you can download an application form from the "About the Register" section on the home page. I think the complimentary RUM windscreen sticker would set your car off a treat!

Colin, did any spare parts come with it? I ask because I'm in need of one of those oval shaped stop lights you have on the back.   Bob

Bob, no spares with it.

However, I buy a lot of motorcycles and cyclemotors in France. I'm back over there next week.

I'll see if I can find one of the oval lights for you. It depends totally on what else it was used on.

Do you need the whole unit or just the lens?

I just need the lense. I have only ever seen them on Mochets and Inters , each time I go to Retromobile I look throught the autojumble in vein so they must be rare. I would appreciate you keeping an eye out .   Bob

I went up to my storage and had a closer look at it today. It says MODELE DEPOSE on top

Thanks Colin. There are three types, an all red one, a half white/half red one, and the one you show in the picture which has the clear section to illuminate the numberplate. What I have on the back of my Inter is an all red replica, Ken Weger had some molded and kindly gave me one. I need one that will illuminate the plate like the example shown so that it will pass an MOT when I go to register it next year. If nothing turns up I will attempt to cut a section out and graft a clear section in. They are like the proverbial hens fangs so I dare say I will be doing the latter.

Hi Colin

Modele Deposee translates as something like "trade mark registered".  Is there a manufacturer's name on the lens anywhere?  I've got a contact in France who's agreed to rummage through his stocks for me.

Hi Colin. No need to look out for the rear light lense for me, I found two at retromobile today. Hows that for a stroke of luck?!
