Hello Ferdi, I don't doubt your Roadster is original. I only say that when a 201 is fully restored, including major work on the door i.e. new screen supports, box sections, etc, there's no way of telling if it's genuine or not. Original paperwork is one way. My 1957 car is described as a Sports Convertible on it's original registration document. As cabrios weren't introduced until October 1958 that's proof enough. History & original paperwork relating to a chassis number, or old photos can be the only way with a restored car. At the end of the day, it only matters if you decide to sell your car. Nick.
