i very much doubt it Jonathan, my grandad did have a nobel in the mid 1970s which he restored and when he advertised it a guy from Japan actually drove over and collected it,and took it away,which was very unusual back then unlike today,even made the local paper!

I have just found a Nobel steering column and a load of blue interior trim that is extraordinarily close to matching the blue rexin stuff they used. Not sure how much a car takes but I would think there should be enough for three cars at least.

I'd be interested in seeing a sample, I need some to patch the front seat and create a rear one.

I doubt it will look good as a patch but as a replacement set fine. Try and sort a pic out.

          Is it material or vinyl, I have an almost accurate match in material - but vinyl they do not seem to do an accurate match - waiting for your reply - thanks.

Sounds like three swatches required. Have Mike and Nick's address but not Blob's I think. The material is cloth backed vynal so the same as is used on Schmitt interior and hard wearing. The original was more like Rexin.

If you have any material after you've posted all the samples, I'd happily take any bits that are left. As you know I am only 20 min away. Of course the Nob has the original seat covers, but when my little angel stood on the back seat once I decided to store them in the living room for now. As for daily driving I might try and create something more sturdy. So definitely interested!

I'd be keen to pick up the steering column, Al, if you are going for the minimalist garage look now! It can be stored along with the two Nobel doors (blob!). Just in case ...

I have a further roll which is an end so carrying a few defects. Ideal for in use rather than show.
