scootacar mkII rear light ? what type ?

can anyone tell me what make of light should be on the back of a scootacar mk II is it by any chance PMG . bought one at a jumble today in fine condition . lens,chrome,rubber,wiring and bulb in perfect condition - forgot it should have a clear panel for number plate DURRR  ;) ;) anyway otherwise is this the type to look for ?

Yep, that is the correct one. I know that, since I have the other type, and Andy Carter told me there wrong.

The ones you have are correct, and expensive and rare! Lucky you!

its not right - it has no side clear lens though. what sort do you have ?

Oh yeah now I see! Yeah, they need the clear lens.

My ones are the same dshape, but arent handed.

My bad, I read the emails wrong.The correct lens for the scootacar has the 2 ris across the face.

At last a picture of what we are meant to be looking for. I have probably thrown such things away in the passed! Now this does look like the light on the back of my Scoot which I was told was wrong! So we are getting somewhere.

Next the indicators!

Here's a rear shot of my MkII in 1976 (now in Story?) It shows the original lights that came with the car, not clearly but they look like the first one in Jonathan's picture.

amazing how clear you can get by blowing the pic up . thanks - never got anywhere firm about the trident question though  :P
