Hi all.
A while back I was wondering how hard is was to set up a forum these days. I was thinking, surely not as hard as it used to be now that companies host them for you.
Just as a learning exercise I set one up and it was reasonably straight forward. Posting photo's is easy and the general layout is quite straightforward to navigate ones way around.
I invited a couple of friends to sign on to it to see that it worked and to familiarise myself with how to authorize new members etc.
It now seems a waste to have set it all up and not actually launch it as a live forum.
So, are you game for a bit of fun? Here we go
http://vintagemicrocarsandbubblecars.freeforums.org/index.php?sid=8521086642386de17e4231b96e8d749cI just want to emphasise I'm not viewing this as a rival in anyway to this great forum, there may not be room for two, especially as this one is so well established now. We will soon find out but it could be handy as its not affiliated with any club or organisation so you can more or less talk about anything you like.
Why not have a look, sign up, hop from one forum to another other to keep up with what's going on. If it flops, then nothing has been lost but at least I learned a bit about forums.
Hopefully I will see you there.
