Three Wheelers being delivered
« on: August 26, 2015, 11:58:00 am »
I don't know why but I have always loved the old black and white shots of cars being despatched ,transported and delivered . Are there any other shots of cars that we haven't seen before ? I do have a Gordon one up my sleeve might I add  ;)

And indeed some of these Bonds are on higher perches, the Raymond way.

What is pulling this, a Scamell Scarab? Though with Bonds it might be light enough not to be a locomitive.

Nice photo, cheers. I agree that there is something particularly nice about every day sights from the past. Old catalogue/advertising shots are nice, but it is the more mundane ones which always seem to have the best atmosphere.

That is a Fordson E83W tractor unit, this rig was christened by the factory staff as the Queen Mary. It was used during the 1952 Preston  and their Fordson E83W works van was there too, see
